The event takes place on Saturday 5 September 2026 at Kielder Castle in Kielder, Hexham, Northumberland. It offers five waymarked trail routes that run through Kielder Forest with mixed terrain, fast forest trails and steady inclines. GPX files are available for each route.

The event provides on-course fuel and hydration outposts offering sweet and savoury snacks, gels and electrolyte drinks. Outposts aim to be cup free so participants should bring a refillable cup or bottle. Services at the venue include course marking, timing, online results, event photography, food and drink on site, bag drop and a metal finishers medal.

Safety and entry notes: Ultra and Marathon entrants must carry mandatory kit which includes a waterproof jacket, mobile phone, at least 800 calories, a minimum of 1 litre of water, a whistle, foil blanket and a reusable cup. Cut off limits apply by duration for the Ultra and Marathon routes. Online entry closes 2 September 2026 and on-the-day entries are possible if the event is not sold out.
