The Ingram Hillforts Trail Race

The Ingram Hillforts Trail Race is a seven mile trail event based at Ingram Village Hall in Northumberland. Set in the Ingram Valley, the route visits ancient hillforts and provides views of the Cheviot Hills. The course is described as fully marked.

From the village hall the route climbs steadily to the first hillfort, Wether Hill, then continues to the second hillfort, Cochrane Pike. A descent follows to the third hillfort, Brough Law, before runners re-trace their footsteps back to the village hall. Registration and start and finish are at Ingram Village Hall. Race numbers are collected on the day.

Participants are required to carry kit appropriate for the weather conditions. The event notes that dogs are not permitted. Entries open on 5 July 2026 and close on 24 July 2026. The published entry fee is £15.00. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
