Newcastleton 10km Trail Race

The Newcastleton 10km Trail Race is scheduled for 15 August 2026 and is organised by Run And Ride. The event is based at Rock UK, Whithough Park, Newcastleton TD9 0TY and uses the surrounding trail network.

The route is a fully off road 10km course completed as one lap. Surfaces include wide forest tracks, flowing singletrack and some technical downhill sections. The course will be marked, signed and marshalled throughout and distance markers are provided. There is one water station at the halfway point and timing is by chip.

Categories include Adult/Jnr (14 to 39) and Vet (40 plus). Finishers receive a bespoke medal. Prizes are awarded to the first, second and third placed male and female and to the first Vet 40 plus male and female. Facilities at the venue include parking and toilets; parking carries a small charge of one pound.

Signage will direct arrival and parking at Rock UK. Race numbers are not posted in advance; signing on takes place at the venue. Transfer and refund options are available under specified conditions: entries may be traded for a transfer credit for a fee of one pound until 8 August 2026 with 12 months to use the credit, and refunds are possible less a five pound fee until 1 August 2026. A scenic 15 km race in Moffat featuring a long climb and a steep stony section followed by a 4.6 mile descent into town. Junior races and a tots dash are included, with optional shirts and finisher mementoes.

A 37 mile ultramarathon on Isaac's Tea Trail run in reverse around the North Pennines AONB, starting and finishing in Allendale. Solo and three person relay options, self navigated with checkpoints, GPX support and a 12 hour completion wind..

A challenging fell race in Northumberland's beautiful countryside. The 5.8km route features 300m of climb and is part of the regional championship. Entry is available on the day.

Run the Borders follows the waymarked Borders Abbey Way around the Scottish Borders, visiting four ruined abbeys. It offers a full 109K, a 50K and a four person relay with checkpoints, drop bags and mandatory kit.
