The Inflatable 5K in Edinburgh is a non timed fun run held on 5 September 2026 that uses a 2.5k lap with giant inflatable obstacles, slides and tunnels. Participants can choose from four distances and repeat laps around the same obstacle circuit. The 5k route includes 30 inflatable obstacles, with three additional new obstacles added for this edition. There are five music zones, event photography, on course hydration, medical cover, a finisher's medal, a goodie bag and a free spectators area.

• 2.5k: one lap with 15 inflatable obstacles
• 5k: two laps with 30 inflatable obstacles
• 10k: four laps with 60 inflatable obstacles
• 15k: six laps with 90 inflatable obstacles

Practical information includes parking charged at £5 per car, a bag drop priced at £3 per bag with size limits and security searches, provision of toilets, and food and drink vendors on site. Children aged 5 to 15 must run with a paying participating adult at a ratio of up to three children per adult. Dogs are not permitted.
