A circular ultramarathon of circa 120 miles and 16,000 ft across the ten highest hills of the North York Moors, starting and finishing at Goathland village hall. The event has a 35 hour time limit and a maximum of 70 participants.

An upland 31.7 km race from Muker that climbs to the Tan Hill Inn and crosses remote moorland via Coast to Coast and Pennine Way sections, with marked trails, aid stations and mandatory safety kit.

A 16 kilometre (10 mile) loop near Muker following the second half of the DR30 route, ascending Swinner Gill and returning along the River Swale. Aid stations, GPX route and a hot finishers meal are provided.

Take on the Fellrunner at Heptonstall Festival, a scenic 9.5 km fell race with about 500 m of climb in the South West Pennines. Finish to live music, food stalls and a free pint; entry on the day £7.

Warslow Fell Race on 4 July 2026 features senior and junior fell races from Warslow Village Hall. The senior course is 10 km with 675 m ascent on steep, technical terrain and is licensed by the Fell Runners Association.

A 24 hour trail relay at Bramham Park, Leeds on 4th–5th July 2026 with Solo, Pair and Team entries on an 8 km lap course. The event includes an event village, camping facilities and charity entry options.

A 4.7 mile off road trail race through the Moss Valley with a 1.4 mile family fun run. The course runs across farmland and woodland, includes a small ford, and is taped and marshalled.

A low-key fell race at the Oakworth gala featuring a 9 km route with 250 m climb, stalls and children’s fun races. Entries cost £5 and the minimum age on race day is 18.

Trail options from Bakewell across the Southern Peak District include 100 km, 50 km, 25 km and a 10 mile Bakewell option. The event features a signed route, GPS tracking, covered rest stops, medical support and camping facilities.

MacTuffX Sunderland on 4 July 2026 pairs ten Xercises with running across solo, doubles and relay formats, offering standard and LITE weight divisions; all entrants must be 18 or over.

A licensed, timed five mile trail race through Smalley, Mapperley and Shipley Country Park with water stations, a race village and prizes. A separate one mile colourful fun run on the event field provides a finisher medal and limited places..

Pretty Muddy 5k at Heaton Park on 4 July 2026 is an obstacle course event over grass, paths and woodland where participants aged 13 and over take part in staggered waves while fundraising for cancer research.

Looped trail event in Masham on 5 July 2026 offering 3 hour and 6 hour options where runners complete as many laps as they can within the time limit. Trail and road terrain, feed stations, marshals, a bespoke medal and post race treats.

A village organised fell race on 5 July 2026 across Dark Peak and White Peak. The route is about 10 km (6 miles) with roughly 340 m of ascent and finishes at the village school with renowned flapjacks.

A trail half marathon around Lyme Hall and the Gritstone Trail, with a fully marked route, two aid stations, electronic timing and parking included in the £36 fee. Finishers can choose a medal or a tree planting option.

A 24 km fell race from Garrigill that takes in the summit of Cross Fell and the source of the River Tees. The event is marshalled, run under FRA rules and raises funds for the local air ambulance and village hall.

Run through the scenic southern Peak District and Tittesworth Reservoir on rugged trails and moorland tracks. Choose between three distances and enjoy a chip timed race with stocked aid stations and a themed finisher medal.

Matlock Skyline Challenge on 5 July 2026 offers two unmarked off road routes from Matlock, raising funds for Derby Mountain Rescue Team. Routes traverse high ground, villages, meadows, moorland and woodland.

A 5K beach race with an accompanying fun run on Bridlington South Beach on 5 July 2026. The route runs along beach and coastline on firmer sand and the event is licensed by the Trail Runners Association under UKA rules.

A trail running event at Dunsop Bridge on 5 July 2026 with fully signed 10K and 15K routes, chip timing and aid stations. All finishers receive a bespoke medal and technical t shirt; medical support and parking are included.
