Point to point Lyke Wake Challenge of just over 40 miles between Osmotherley and Ravenscar on 11 July 2026, run on a handicap basis. Entrants must be 21 or older, carry mandatory safety kit and numbers are limited to 150.

A 10 km race through the historic grounds of Floors Castle in Kelso on 12 July 2026. Mixed road and trail surfaces, a water station near 5 km, finishing refreshments, and medals and goodie bags for all finishers.

A chip-timed 5k, 10k and half marathon at Holyrood Park in Edinburgh with a measured course, hydration stations, marshals and a finisher's medal. Age guidance applies and dogs are not permitted.

Chapelfell Top is an AS graded 7 km fell race in St. John’s Chapel, Weardale featuring 400 m of ascent to the 703 m summit and a return on the same route. The event is organised by Durham Fell Runners and run under FRA rules.

A multi-terrain 15 km festival in Moffat held under UK Athletics rules with open and local prizes, veteran categories, junior races and a tots dash; route features a long climb, stony track section and a 4.6 mile descent back to town.

A low cost and informal summer fell race in Great Langdale featuring an 8 km route to the summit of Pike of Blisco and an unconventional beer prizegiving.

Tackle a scenic fell race from Chop Gate in the North York Moors, covering 6.1 miles with 344 m of ascent across classic moorland. Entry on the day is welcome with low fees for members and non members, and teams are catered for.

A fast, flat 10 km riverside event in Darlington offering medals and goody bags for all, competitive prizes for top finishers, and points toward a four-race series with awards in October.

An evening team relay at Derwenthaugh Country Park on 16 July, run by Derwent Valley Running Club. Teams of three, age 16 plus, must include at least one male and one female; entry is £18 per team and parking is limited.

An uphill only 6 km mountain race with 850 m ascent from King George Playing Field in Patterdale. The route climbs via the Hole in the Wall and Swirral Edge to a summit trig point and is part of the Rab Helvellyn Sky Ultra weekend.

A technical 28 km sky race around the Helvellyn massif near Patterdale with 2700 m ascent. Entry is by pre-selection and requires mountain running and rock climbing experience; the £130 fee includes tracking, a meal and a compostable medal.

A 57 km mountain race in Patterdale with 3700 m ascent and a 14.5 hour cut off, featuring exposed ridges such as Striding Edge, Swirral Edge and Long Stile Edge. Entry requires a minimum age of 19 and previous mountain experience is advised..

A technical mountain trail race in the Lake District covering 29 km and 2050 m ascent around St Sunday Crag. The event includes marked route, manned checkpoints, live GPRS tracking and post race refreshments.

A semi technical 15 km trail around the base of Place Fell on Ullswater with 680 m ascent. Marked course, a feed station, electronic timing and a plantable Wild Flower Seed medal.

A 10 km trail race at Northumberlandia on 18 July 2026 using the landform and nearby countryside, with a one mile children’s fun run, water station, way marked course and a bespoke finisher medal.

A 50 mile, 5,500 ft circuit in the Yorkshire Dales from Harmby Village Hall via Wensleydale and Swaledale with an ascent of Great Shunner Fell. Electronic trackers are used and entrants must be 18 or over.

A 19.8 km clockwise horseshoe of the Kentmere Valley with 1006 m of climb including Ill Bell, High Street and Kentmere Pike. The race follows FRA rules, has strict kit and cutoff requirements and is based at Kentmere Village Hall.
