Newcastle Pretty Muddy 5k

Race for Life Pretty Muddy at Town Moor in Newcastle is a 5k obstacle course event held on Saturday 11 July 2026. The course starts and finishes on grass and is mainly on grass with small sections on paths. The start and finish area is on the field adjacent to Claremont Road bridge and Exhibition Park.

Participants must be 13 years of age or older. There is a minimum fundraising target of £50. Entry fees listed for this event are £22.49 for adults and £12.00 for children. Pretty Muddy events use staggered waves, with each wave starting every 15 minutes; group entries should book the same wave so they start together. Marshals are available on course to assist with obstacles.

On-site facilities include refreshments and toilets. Dogs, bag drop and showers are not available. The event is not suitable for pushchairs and is not wheelchair accessible. There are no bike racks and general event parking is not available; limited roadside parking is possible on Claremont Road and drop offs can be made at the Exhibition Park entrance. Volunteer parking is provided on the field via the blue gate off Claremont Road bridge.

Accessibility arrangements include sunflower wristbands at the enquiries marquee, Event Managers trained as Dementia Friends, and a QR code for British Sign Language stage content. Participants receive a fundraising pack, a customisable back sign, training resources and a Race for Life finishers medal. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
