Newcastle Pretty Muddy 5k at Town Moor, Newcastle

The event is a 5 km Pretty Muddy obstacle course on the Town Moor, near Exhibition Park, Newcastle NE2 3BX, held on Saturday 11 July 2026. The route starts and finishes on grass and is mainly on grass with small sections on paths. The course features obstacles that require participants to climb, crawl and slide, and waves start every 15 minutes to manage flow on the course.

Participants must be 13 years of age or older to take part. A separate Pretty Muddy Kids offer is available for children aged 12 and under. The minimum fundraising target for this event is £50. Entry fees listed are Adults £22.49 and Children £12.00.

On-site facilities include refreshments and toilets. Dogs, bag drop and showers are not available. The event is not suitable for wheelchair users and is not suitable for pushchairs. Organisers provide accessibility measures such as sunflower wristbands at the enquiries marquee, Event Managers trained as Dementia Friends, and a QR code on the main site for British Sign Language stage content.

There is no parking at the event; city centre car parks are recommended and drop off guidance directs visitors to Brandling Park, Jesmond with an underpass to Exhibition Park. Due to the Lost Minds festival, access from Claremont Road is restricted; use entrances to Exhibition Park or gates off Great North Road.
