Entries are managed via the organiser's booking partner. Participants receive a confirmation email after registration and further race information in the week before the event, including where to collect race packs on the day. Race bibs with the timing chip are collected at the registration desk on event day and the chip must be secured to an outer garment.

Participant rules and practical information are specified in the event FAQs. Age guidance follows Scottish Athletics: 5k runners should be 11 or above and 10k runners should be above 15. Children remain the responsibility of their parent or guardian, who should stay onsite. Dogs are not permitted. Standard headphones are not allowed; bone-conduction headphones are accepted. Typical cut-off times are 1.5 hours for 5k and 10k, and 3 hours for the half marathon.

On entries and refunds: online entries typically close two days before the event; on-the-day entry is usually available if the event has not sold out. The organiser’s cancellation policy allows refunds up to 30 days before an event, with transfer and virtual options available within specified windows. Volunteers receive refreshments and a free entry to an Up and Running Event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
