Trail Running calendar near Wendover 2026-2027

Community organised *5k* near Aldershot on Sunday 11 October 2026 with a very flat route on the Polo Fields and Basingstoke Canal towpath, chip timing, a bespoke finisher medal, and a subsidised race t shirt option.

A 100 mile trail race from Goring & Streatley using Thames Path and Ridgeway routes in four 25 mile out and back spurs. The event has 16 aid stations, full medical support, a 28 hour cut off and mandatory kit and qualifier requirements.

An annual 25 km or 50 km challenge across Kent, Surrey and Sussex footpaths, navigated from written route directions with checkpoints, food included and a ten hour completion objective.

A guided 10 miles trail run around the Chilterns, following canals and reservoirs and passing Britain’s oldest post windmill. The event includes a run leader, trail technique instruction and a finisher’s medal.

An off‑road cross‑country race in Hardwick, Buckinghamshire, covering about 6 miles across varied terrain and water crossings. Entry is limited to 300 runners, with medals and category prizes including team awards.

A 10K trail run through the private grounds of Hole Park in Cranbrook, Kent on 18 October 2026, featuring parkland and woodland sections, timed results, official photography and bespoke finisher medals.

Ely Tri Club Runfest 2026 offers out and back running courses from 10k up to 66k around Ely, with routes through Wicken Fen and along the River Cam. The event includes timed results, aid stations, medals, checkpoints and race merchandise.

The Blackdown Hill Challenge on 18 October 2026 is a trail running event from Fernhurst Recreation Ground to the Temple of the Winds, featuring a 866 ft climb and wide views. A shorter adult trail of about 4.5 km is also offered.

A 5k night trail at Dunkertons Park in Cheltenham where runners use head torches to light the course. Open to ages 16 and over, with prizes for top three men and women and on-site refreshments and safety rules.

A point to point 47 miles ultra along the Thames Path and Ridgeway from Iffley to Henley-on-Thames, mostly on trails, with five aid stations, mandatory kit checks, baggage transfer and live GPS tracking.

A 30 mile out and back ultra along the River Stort and Lee navigations on the Hertfordshire Essex border, mostly flat grassy and gravel trail with checkpoints every 5 miles, electronic timing, medals for finishers and trophies for top three..

Pumpkin Plod at Ferry Meadows is a multi-hour lap event on a 5.3 km mixed-surface loop where runners complete as many laps as they choose. Aid is provided each lap and finishers receive an event medal.

A timed, self-supported anti-clockwise loop around Canvey Island starting and finishing at Waterside Farm Leisure Centre, with a pub check at about 10 km, a four hour cut off, and a route mainly on sea wall and coastal paths.

ATW Grafham 5K and 10K take place at Grafham Water Visitors Centre on 25 October 2026. Entry fees range from £24 to £33, the races run alongside the ATW Grafham Duathlon, and camping is available the night before.

Looped races at Chalfont Park and Chalfont St Peter let runners choose distances from a 7K loop to multi lap ultras. Aid station, clear course marking, crew support and medical cover are provided.

A Halloween themed night run at Irchester Country Park with 5k and 2k family routes, a finisher medal, free event photos and Halloween chocolates. Minimum ages apply and hard packed trails suit road or trail shoes.

A five mile night trail run at The Plough and Harrow in Litlington on 30 October 2026, self navigated via GPX with a tail runner, timed results, Halloween fancy dress prizes and an age limit of 18 plus.
