The Bedgebury Forest Half Marathon & 10K is organised by Nice Work and scheduled for 19 October 2025 at Bedgebury National Pinetum & Forest, Bedgebury Road, Goudhurst, Kent. The event features two distances:

  • Half Marathon
  • 10k

Race entries may be available on the day subject to availability.

Course and logistics

Both races take place on traffic-free woodland trails through the Bedgebury pinetum. The course meanders along narrow trails and can become muddy if there has been wet weather. Detailed route maps and GPX files are provided by the organiser.

Included for entrants are a bespoke medal, free photographs, trophies and prizes for leading runners, and vehicle admission as part of the entry. Free parking is available in the main visitor centre car park and is limited to 300 spaces. The site is best accessed by car from the A21 and is also accessible by bicycle. Event information will be sent to registered entrants before race day.

Trail runs nearby

Take part in a woodland night score at Westerham: 60 minute navigation to collect as many 10 point controls as you can from 20 locations. Limited entries, book online in advance; apres and prize giving at The Carpenters Arms.

Scenic timed loop around Canvey Island via sea wall and coastal path, starting and ending at Waterside Farm Leisure Centre. Counterclockwise, self supported and with a pub check in near 10k for a top up and friendly course sweep.

KNC 6 at Rusthall Common is a Kent Night Cup score event combining forest, urban and rock features in a 60 minute night challenge. Limited to 40 places and online registration only, so book early for an atmospheric evening orienteering.

Explore runnable forest at Shoreham Woods with courses for all abilities and a one hour score challenge. Online entry only; trails are shared with walkers, riders and bikers and have some steep slippery slopes.

Join the 666 Trail Run at Kings Wood for a scenic 6.66 mile trail through mature woodland organised by Ashford Tri Club. Limited to 200 entries so book early and expect limited parking and patchy phone signal.

Join KNC 7 on Thursday 20 November for a MapRun Street O along the Isle of Sheppey coast from Little Oyster Car Park, Minster on Sea. Tackle a 60 minute score with 31 virtual controls and enjoy an optional Apres O nearby.
