Westfield 7.5km Trail Race

The event takes place on 28 December 2025 at Westfield Community Hall (TN35 4QL). It is organised by 1066 Trail Races. Entry is limited to 50 people. The minimum age is 16 on the event date. Standard entry fee is £15.00, rising to £18.00 from 22 December 2025. Entries open 18 August 2025 and close 27 December 2025.

Course and facilities

The route is a 7.5 km trail loop that is mainly off-road. The first 3 km follow the 1066 Country Walk and pass the Farbanks Henge sculptures. The return route goes via the hamlets of Little and Great Maxfield and finishes opposite The Plough Pub. The distance is approximate and there may be livestock on the course. Running with dogs is prohibited. The course is fully marked and marshalled. Toilets, changing and parking are at the village hall. Tea and cake will be provided in the hall after the race.
