The Westfield 7.5 km Trail Race is scheduled for Sunday 28 December 2025 at Westfield Community Hall, TN35 4QL. The event is organized by 1066 Trail Races. Entry is open from 18 August 2025 and closes on 27 December 2025. The minimum age is 16 or older. Entry fee is £15, rising to £18 from 22 December 2025. The race has a strict entry limit of 50 people. Prizes are offered for first male and first female finishers.

Course, facilities and rules

The route is a loop of approximately 7.5 km, mainly off-road. The first 3 km follow the 1066 Country Walk path and pass the Farbanks Henge sculptures. The return route goes via the hamlets of Little and Great Maxfield and finishes opposite The Plough Pub. The course is fully marked and marshalled. Toilets, changing and parking are available at the village hall. Tea and cake will be provided in the hall after the race. The distance is approximate, livestock may be present on the course, and running with dogs is prohibited. A course map is available on request.
