Thames Trail Ultra is a 47-mile point-to-point ultramarathon along England’s longest river, from Hawkwell House Hotel in Iffley to the YMCA Y Centre in Henley-on-Thames. The route follows the Thames Path and Ridgeway National Trails, offering a mix of cross-country trails, riverside paths, and a small amount of road (86% trails, 14% road). Elevation gain is about 947 ft with a similar loss.

It’s a UTMB index race in the 50K category and features five aid stations, live GPS tracking, baggage transfer, and post-race showers with hot food.
