Hundred Hills 50km
The Hundred Hills 50 km is a trail ultramarathon through the Chiltern Hills, held on 20 March 2027 with the start and finish at Stonor Park near Henley-on-Thames. The route is made up of two distinct 25 km loops that return to Stonor Park at halfway and again at the finish. The course includes approximately 4000 feet of ascent and 4000 feet of descent and travels via villages, ancient woodland and narrow country trails.
The event is a marked course with five staffed aid stations, a race medical team provided by Code Blue Medical Services, roving medical teams on the route and a static medical team at the finish. Aid stations supply a range of fluids and foods; hot food is available at the finish. There is a strict nine hour final cut-off: runners finishing after this time are not listed as official finishers and are not eligible for awards. Cut-off times apply at every aid station and check-in at each aid station is required.
Mandatory equipment must be carried at all times and will be checked; examples include a fully charged mobile phone, a minimum 1 litre water container, a survival blanket (1.4m x 2m), a waterproof jacket with sealed seams, a whistle, a long-sleeved dry top kept for emergencies and a personal cup. Crews and pacers are not permitted, dogs are not allowed on course, and minimum age on race day is 20. Finishers receive a medal and top placings and age category winners receive prizes.
