The 10k runs from Ely toward Barway, follows the River Great Ouse and includes a sharp hill near 9.2 km. The Half Marathon goes into Little Thetford and Barway, passes alongside Kingfishers Bridge Nature Reserve and has a turnaround at 10.5 km. The Marathon runs through Barway and Wicken to Swaffham Prior with a turnaround at 21.1 km. The Ultra route passes Wicken Fen, Lode and Waterbeach and follows the river Cam to a halfway point in Cambridge where support and fuel are provided; the Ultra uses checkpoints and cut-off rules on the course.

Event services and rules include aid stations on course, prizes, event merchandise, a custom event medal, and compliance with UK Athletics and Trail Running Association rules.
