Gatliff Marathon

The Gatliff Marathon is an annual challenge walk, jog or run held on 17 October 2026 from Edenbridge Cricket Club in Edenbridge, Kent. The event is the 42nd edition and uses footpaths and tracks through parts of Kent, Surrey and Sussex.

Routes vary each year. Each entrant receives a route description that includes what3words references and a GPX file. The objective for entrants is to complete the chosen distance within ten hours.

The 50 km route has five checkpoints and the 25 km route has two checkpoints. Snacks and drinks are available at all checkpoints. Soup and sandwiches are provided for lunch at one checkpoint on the 50 km route. Hot food, tea and coffee and showering facilities are available at the finish; all food and drink provided by the organisers are included in the entry fees.

The event provides professional first aid cover delivered by a specialist outdoor sports events provider. Entry fees listed for this edition are £23 for the 50 km and £21 for the 25 km. Entries open on 22 November 2025 and close on 15 October 2026.

A timed Friday event on a flat 5.3 km out-and-back course along the river Thames, with lap-based distances from 5 km to ultra and a £10 Run for a Tenner entry benefiting Rays of Sunshine.

A 50km ultra along the River Medway from Rochester to Tonbridge, mostly on marked towpaths and trails and passing three medieval castles. The event includes three aid stations, live timing, bag transfer and a strict nine hour cut off.

A point to point 30 km trail along the River Medway from Little Fant Farm to Tonbridge, passing East Farleigh, Teston Country Park, Wateringbury and Yalding. The course is fully marked with checkpoints, GPS tracking, provisions and a final..

Functional fitness racing in Twickenham on 30 May 2026 with ten Xercises and repeated runs across solo, doubles and relay divisions. A LITE weight division is available and all entrants must be 18 or older.
