Gatliff Marathon : Edenbridge, Kent

The Gatliff Marathon is an annual challenge walk, jog or run held on Saturday 17 October 2026. This is the 42nd edition of the event. Routes run mostly on footpaths and tracks through parts of Kent, Surrey and Sussex.

The route varies each year. A written route description, what3words references and a GPX file will be provided to each entrant and will be available on the event website before the day. The objective for entrants is to complete the chosen distance within ten hours.

The 50 km route includes five checkpoints and the 25 km route includes two checkpoints. Snacks and drinks are available at all checkpoints. Soup and sandwiches will be provided for lunch at one checkpoint on the 50 km route. All food and drink provided by the organisers are included in the entry fees. Entry fees are listed as £23.00 for the 50 km and £21.00 for the 25 km.

Professional first aid cover is provided by a specialist outdoor sports events provider. At the finish, hot food, tea or coffee and showering facilities are available to all entrants and are included in the entry fee. Trail running on 31 January 2026 at Hound House Road in Surrey with 10 km and 15 km routes over hilly mixed terrain. Parking, toilets and refreshments are available; entries close 29 January 2026.
