The Stort30 is a 30-mile ultra trail run along the River Stort and Lee navigation’s, with a flat and fast 15-mile out and back route. The race has a 7-hour cut-off time and is suitable for both first-time ultra runners and competitive racers. The trail is mostly grassy with some muddy/wet riverside sections, and there are checkpoints every 5 miles with refreshments.

The event takes place on October 27th, 2024, starting at Bishop’s Stortford Running Club, Hertfordshire. There are facilities for parking, changing, and showers, and the race is electronically timed with live results. Mandatory kit is not required, and all finishers receive a race medal and can enjoy free tea, coffee, and soft drinks after the race.
