Plough and Harroween trail run

The Plough and Harroween is a 5-mile night trail run held in Litlington, East Sussex, starting and finishing at The Plough & Harrow pub. The self-navigated course, run in reverse of the Friston Forest 5 route, traverses countryside terrain including forest, farm tracks, and downlands. Participants must use a head torch and follow a Strava GPX route on their phone or watch.

The event encourages Halloween fancy dress, with penalties for those not dressed up and prizes for the best costumes. Runners receive a timed race number, a Halloween-themed medal, and a complimentary drink at the finish. The atmosphere is fun and adventurous rather than competitive.
