Running Tribe Races

Running Tribe Races are looped running events held at two locations near Chalfont St Peter in Buckinghamshire: Chalfont Park Sports Club and Chalfont St Peter Community Centre. The event uses 7K or 10K loops so participants can choose their distance on the day and stop at a shorter distance while remaining in that race category. The looped format provides easy access to drop bags and is suitable for testing kit, nutrition, and pacing strategies.

Courses 1 to 3 are based at Chalfont Park Sports Club. The route is a 10.8K loop with approximately 80% trail and 20% road, including public footpaths and woodland. Elevation on the longer course is about 2,100 ft over six laps. Distances for Courses 1 to 3:

The event features an aid station at the start and finish offering water, soft drinks, and vegan and vegetarian food. Course marking includes clear signage and well signposted road crossings. Pacers are welcome, crew support is permitted anywhere on course, and qualified medical cover will be available. Awards are given to the top three finishers in each distance category. Participants should be comfortable walking or running at least 7K. Recommended kit includes a water bottle, a fully charged mobile phone, weather appropriate clothing, a reusable cup, and a head torch for winter events.
