Irchester Spooktacular

Irchester Spooktacular is a Halloween themed night-time run at Irchester Country Park on Friday 30 October 2026. The event offers two marked and marshaled woodland routes on established trails and tracks.

• 2k Family Fun Run

The routes will be fully marked and marshaled by themed volunteers in costume and fancy dress is encouraged. Entry includes a finisher medal, a bag of Halloween themed chocolates and free digital event photos. Online entry prices are listed as £20 for the 5k and £12 for the 2k. Entries and entry transfers close seven days before the event.

Minimum ages on race day are 11 years for the 5k and 4 years for the 2k. Children under 11 must be accompanied by a responsible adult. There is parking at Irchester Country Park and parking fees apply.

Event support includes professional first aid positioned at the start and finish with access across the park, and Race Harborough volunteers on course. The surface is mostly hard packed track and is suitable for road or trail shoes. Because the event takes place after dark, participants are asked to bring a head torch or small handheld torch.

Prizes will be awarded to the top three male and female finishers in the 5k. The event will offer attendees the opportunity to donate to local foodbanks supported in 2026. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
