A remote trail half marathon on the Pennine Way around Bowes, passing Bowes Castle, Blackton Reservoir and Goldsborough Carr. The exposed route includes boggy sections, tree roots and a stream crossing, and minimum kit is required.

A community navigational run of around 10 km around Chinley visiting six defibrillators with a paper map and stamps to prove visits. Proceeds fund replacement and upkeep of the community defibrillators.

Tackle the rugged Bowland slopes at the Hapton Fell Race, a challenging 5 miles with about 400 m of climb near Burnley. Day of entry makes it ideal for last minute plans and friendly club rivalry.

Experience a two lap trail race through 400 acres of historic parkland at Alderley Park. This five mile course features scenic views of an arboretum and lakes and includes a technical finisher t-shirt for all participants.

An evening trail event at Aske Hall near Richmond featuring 5km, 10km and a 5km walk across pasture, farm tracks and woodland. The single lap course is marked and may be muddy; basic facilities and a water station are provided.

Evening pop up races at Cromwell Bottom Nature Reserve on 23 July 2026 feature 5k and 10k routes, on site parking, food and a finisher jumble medal. Payment is accepted on the day or online.

Join the Fellrunner in Sheldon on Thu 23 Jul 2026 for a spirited 4 mile village fell race across scenic Peak District climbs. Friendly entry on the day supports local funds and welcomes runners aged 14 and over.

A new trail 10k around Clowbridge Reservoir and the Pennine Bridleway with 175m ascent. The route is marked and marshalled; entries via SiEntries, minimum age 15 and a £10 fee. Proceeds support local causes.

A Friday evening *10 km* trail race at RSPB St Aidan's Country Park near Leeds, run over one mainly flat lap on public footpaths and bridleways. Entries are limited to 300 because of parking and environmental considerations.

The Punk Panther Takes the Hindmost will take place in Otley on Saturday 25 July 2026.

A 54 km circular trail around the Yorkshire Wolds starting and ending near Pocklington, with about 4,100 ft of climb and visits to several villages. The event includes GPX navigation, live tracking and four checkpoints with food and toilets..

A multi-distance run along a disused railway between Ironbridge and Bridgnorth, offering distances from 9 miles to 37 miles with 9.4 mile laps and aid stations every 4.7 miles.

Alderman's Ascent is a tenth year fell race in Greenfield with an 8.5 km course and over 400 m of climbing, passing the Pots and Pans monument and Shaw Rocks before returning to the finish. The event is an English Fell Running Championship..

Tackle a classic Lake District fell race on Saturday 25 July 2026 at Beetham Sports Field, a 9.3 km route with 283 m of climb that rewards grit with stunning views. Entry on the day, plus junior sports day races and parking on site.

A family friendly inflatable obstacle run in Coventry offering 2.5k, 5k, 10k and 15k routes with giant inflatables, music zones, on-course water, a finisher's medal and food vendors on site.

A six-hour lap challenge in Skellingthorpe on tarmac paths along an old railway, offering distances from 5 km to ultra with on-course drinks, food, parking and finishers' medal and goody bag.

An endurance format event on 25 July 2026 at The Sidings, Wirral Country Park. Runners complete a 4.167 mile loop each hour until only one remains; the event is sold out with a waiting list.

A muddy 5k obstacle course around Sefton Park with climb, crawl and slide elements; waves run every 15 minutes and participants must be 13 or older. The event supports fundraising and includes event support and a finishers medal.

A 5k obstacle event at Costello Stadium on 25 July 2026 where participants climb, crawl and slide across grass and tarmac while raising funds for Cancer Research UK. Waves run every 15 minutes and participants must be 13 years or older.
