Tackle the rugged Bowland slopes at the Hapton Fell Race, a challenging 5 miles with about 400 m of climb near Burnley. Day of entry makes it ideal for last minute plans and friendly club rivalry.

Join the Ravenscar Rumble revisited, a scenic fell race in Ravenscar on Wed 22 Jul 2026 covering 10 km with 250 m of climb through the North York Moors. Tea rooms stay open for post run treats and entry is on the day only.

Enjoy scenic single loop trail runs at Aske Hall in Richmond, North Yorkshire, with 5 km and 10 km routes through parkland, woodland and fields. Fairly flat but can be muddy, so bring trail shoes for a picturesque off road challenge.

Explore private parkland and woodland around Aske and Constable Burton Halls on 23 July 2026 with 5km and 10km run options and a 5km walk. Fully marked trails may be muddy and include finisher food and onsite parking.

Montane Lakeland 50 and 100 are weekend trail ultras in the Lake District, 24 to 26 July 2026. Big climbs, wild fell scenery and technical navigation make this an epic test of endurance. Entries are currently full.

Take on the Yorkshire Wolds Ultra, a scenic 54 km trail around Pocklington on 25 July 2026 with 4,100 ft of climb through rolling countryside. Enjoy supported checkpoints, live GPS tracking and eco friendly finish options.

Tackle a classic Lake District fell race on Saturday 25 July 2026 at Beetham Sports Field, a 9.3 km route with 283 m of climb that rewards grit with stunning views. Entry on the day, plus junior sports day races and parking on site.

Tackle classic Lake District terrain at the High Wether Howe fell race on Sat 25 Jul 2026, a 14 km route with 485 m of climb starting and finishing at Stepps Hall. Entry on the day is welcome and proceeds support the Shap community fund.

The AIRE Ultra Trail and Super Trail Half will take place in Leeds on Sunday 26 July 2026. You can run 22 kilometers.

Take on the classic Ambleside fell race near Rydal Park, a short but sharp climb to a rocky summit set in Lakeland scenery. Open to seniors and juniors with age categories, this BOFRA counter promises a stiff test of speed and stamina.

Join the Skipton Rock up n' Run pop up Summer Series along the scenic Leeds and Liverpool Canal in Rodley, with 5k and 10k distances for all abilities. Finishers get a jumble medal and can enjoy hot food plus a beer or soft drink.

Join the Heart Of The Lakes Rydal Round, a scenic Lake District fell run of 9 miles with 915 m climb around Rydal Park. Entry is on the day and the race opens Ambleside Sports; sports field admission applies.

August 2026

She Strides women's only 50k in Hebden Bridge offers a stunning, supportive ultra through moorland, woods and charming Pennine towns. Expect well stocked vegan friendly checkpoints, female support crew and a finisher medal.

Run Isaac's Tea Trail Ultra Backwards, a scenic 37 mile loop in the North Pennines AONB with about 4800 ft of ascent. Self navigated with marshals, stocked checkpoints and tracker support, it offers challenge and big views.

Run the Esk Valley Way ultra from Castleton to Whitby Harbour beneath the Abbey ruins. This 36 mile point to point route combines moors and coast, limited to 100 runners and offering live tracking for a memorable, demanding challenge.
