Course and race details

Runners pass the Circle sculpture between miles 7 and 8 and travel through coastal villages and sections of the Cleveland Way. The course includes running on sand, cliff-top sections, and uneven surfaces such as mud, rocks, and tree roots. The total ascent is 1591 ft over the 14.35 mile route. The event is run as a trail race and has a five hour cutoff, permitting walkers. Trophies are awarded to first place male, female, and non-binary finishers, and to first male and female in 50, 60, and 70 age categories.
