CBTE The Charm Bracelet Half Marathon is scheduled for Sunday 12 April 2026 at Redcar Beach Base, Majuba Road, Redcar TS10 5BJ. The event is organized by The Charm Bracelet Marathon. Entries open 14 April 2025 and close 21 March 2026. The minimum age is 17 on the event date. Entry fees are Affiliated £37.00 and Non-Affiliated £39.00. There are 150 places available and 63 participants listed so far. A 5 hour cutoff applies. Trophies are awarded to 1st male, 1st female and 1st non-binary overall, and to 1st male and 1st female in the 50, 60 and 70 age categories. Participants may purchase optional event refund cover.

Course and format

The race is a trail half marathon of 14.35 miles from Redcar beach to the fishing village of Staithes. The route passes coastal villages and the "Circle" sculpture between miles 7 and 8, includes sections on sand and cliff paths, and follows parts of the Cleveland Way. Runners will encounter varied underfoot surfaces including mud, sand, rocks and tree roots. Total elevation gain on the course is 1591 ft.
