Trail Running calendar near Preston 2026-2027

A three day multi day ultra running challenge along the Cumbria Way in the Lake District, from Ulverston to Carlisle with overnight stays in Great Langdale and Keswick. Small group format with bag transfer and a host accompanying the team.

A community 5K run through Stenkrith Park and over the Millennium Bridge in Kirkby Stephen on 13 June 2027. The event includes a warm up at Basecamp, food and music and donates proceeds to the Northern Viaduct Trust.

A family-friendly colour run in Silsden supporting Sue Ryder Manorlands Hospice, run over a **5 km** cross country course with seven paint stations, obstacles and a finishers medal, followed by music, food and a bar.

A colourful, timed event at Sherwood Pines where runners have six hours to complete as many 6.168 km laps as they wish, with prizes and rainbow-themed features.

Evening 5 km and 10 km trail races through Wentworth Castle Gardens' parkland and woodland, canicross friendly with chip timing and onsite parking.

A split-course ultramarathon offering two 50 km loops or a full 100 km across Lancashire and Yorkshire, with mid-way support, vegan-friendly checkpoints and GPS timing.

A 24 hour community run and solidarity weekend in Meersbrook Park combining continuous running with films, a mass sing, a Palestine Voices Tent on prisoners, lanterns, family activities and fundraising for Palestine charities.
