Hardmoors 26.2 Wainstones Trail Marathon
This event at Chop Gate Village Hall (Raisdale Road, Chop Gate, TS9 7JN; what3words deflated.dressy.human) is part of the Hardmoors 26.2 series and is listed with three distances. The organiser sets a maximum field of 350 runners and provides downloadable maps, route descriptions and GPX files; the courses are not taped or signed so competitors must navigate using their printed maps and route descriptions.

Ascent figures are listed as 5600, 3630 and 1600 and time limits are 10, 6 and 4 hours respectively. Mandatory kit is required for all distances and includes items such as a waterproof jacket with taped seams, hat and gloves, capacity to carry 500 ml fluid, printed route description and map, emergency survival bag, foil blanket, whistle, spare long sleeved base layer and means to attach a race number. Failure to carry mandatory kit for the duration of the event will result in disqualification.
Entry details are published with category prizes and fees. Prices listed include parking and a small donation to the Cleveland Way National Trail; a race T shirt is optional for an extra fee.
