The Hardmoors 26.2: Wainstones races take place on Sunday 14 June 2026 from Chop Gate Village Hall, Raisdale Road, Chop Gate (TS9 7JN; what3words: deflated.dressy.human). The event offers three circular courses starting and finishing at the village hall:

Course, kit and race rules

Courses are not fully taped or signed. Competitors must download and carry printed route descriptions and maps; GPX files are provided. Mandatory kit differs by distance. Marathon and Half Marathon mandatory items include a waterproof jacket with taped seams, hat and gloves, a means to carry 500 ml fluid, printed route map and description, emergency survival bag, foil blanket, whistle, and a way to attach the race number. Anyone not carrying mandatory kit may be disqualified. Time limits are 10 hours for the marathon, 6 hours for the half, and 4 hours for the 10k. The event is cupless and dogs are not allowed.
