Mandatory kit, time limits and rules

Time limits are: 10 hours for the marathon, 6 hours for the half marathon and 4 hours for the 10k. Mandatory kit is required for safety and includes items such as a waterproof jacket with taped seams (marathon and half), hat and gloves (marathon and half), capacity to carry at least 500 ml fluid, printed route description and map, emergency survival bag or foil blanket, whistle and a means to attach a race number. The event is cupless at checkpoints; competitors should bring their own drinking cup. Dogs are not permitted in the races.
