Each distance has a stated ascent and time limit: the marathon shows ascent 5600 with a 10 hour limit, the half marathon ascent 3630 with a 6 hour limit, and the 10k ascent 1600 with a 4 hour limit. The event is a cupless race; competitors should bring a cup for checkpoint and finish drinks.
Entries open 26th August 2026 for voucher holders and 2nd August 2026 for general entries, with entries closing on 28th May 2027. Entry fees vary by distance and attachment status and include parking and a small donation to the Cleveland Way National Trail.
Competitors must carry mandatory kit appropriate to their distance, including printed route description and printed route map. Courses are not fully marked so runners must navigate using downloadable maps and GPX files provided by the organisers.
