Hardmoors 26.2 Wainstones Trail Marathon
Hardmoors 26.2 Wainstones is a trail race day held at Chop Gate Village Hall, Raisdale Road, Chop Gate TS9 7JN (what3words deflated.dressy.human). The event offers three course distances:

Entry is limited to 350 participants. The published ascent figures and time limits for each distance are provided: ascent 5600 / 3630 / 1600 and cut offs 10 / 6 / 4 hours respectively. Prices include parking and a £2 donation; published entry fees vary by distance and athlete attachment status.
The courses are not taped or signed. Competitors receive downloadable route descriptions, maps and GPX files and must print and carry the maps and navigate themselves. The event is cupless so participants should bring a cup for checkpoint and finish drinks.
Mandatory kit is required for all distances and will be checked. Required items include waterproof jacket with taped seams, capacity to carry 500 ml fluid, printed route description and map, emergency survival bag, foil blanket, whistle and means to attach a race number. Additional items are listed separately for the marathon and half marathon. Failure to carry mandatory kit may result in disqualification.
