West Yorkshire Trail Run

The West Yorkshire Trail Run at Harewood House takes place on Sunday 21 June 2026 and is organised by Run Rebel. The route is set within the Harewood House estate, which surrounds an 18th-century residence and covers more than 100 acres of grounds, including woodlands, landscaped gardens, and lakeside areas.

The course follows tracks through Wall Side Plantation and ascends Sugar Hill, then passes close to the sets used for Emmerdale. The route continues to Eccup Reservoir, described here as the largest body of water in West Yorkshire and notable for surrounding biodiversity. The return route runs through Carr Plantation and Piper Wood and passes a tranquil lake before coming back toward the estate.

The event includes on-course marshals and provides a medal and a finish line prize to competitors at the end of the run. The description of the course highlights wooded sections, reservoir views, and estate landscapes as the main features of the route. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
