West Yorkshire Trail Run

The West Yorkshire Trail Run takes place at Harewood House estate in Leeds on Sunday 21 June 2026. The event uses routes across more than 100 acres of landscaped grounds, parkland and woodland around the 18th century house.

Routes pass along Wall Side Plantation, climb gently to Sugar Hill, run near the Emmerdale set and follow trails beside Eccup Reservoir, the largest body of water in West Yorkshire. The return section goes through Carr Plantation and Piper Wood and passes a lakeside area before the finish.

Three distances are offered:

  • 22.0 km
  • 13.0 km
  • 8.0 km

Entries include chip timing, a high quality metal finisher medal, finisher goodie and a refreshing drink, a personalised certificate, first aid cover, on-course refreshments and friendly marshals. The course is signed with pink arrows and pink tape and hazards and road junctions are marked with caution signs. The event operates a plastic free policy and requests runners bring a reusable cup or bottle. Bib numbers are collected on arrival and must be displayed on the front of the runner.

Spectators are welcome. Dogs are not allowed on the course. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
