Trail Running calendar near Polzeath 2026-2027

An evening 10 kilometre race along the River Exe organised by Exeter City Community Trust, run on a traffic free and flat course. The event includes on course support, finisher medals and options to run with a charity place.

Join the Gt. Links Tor Flyer on Dartmoor for a challenging 7.5 km fell race with 388 m of climb, finishing at the Fox & Hounds in Lydford. Open to seniors and juniors with pre and on the day entry.

Join Gecko Gathering at Scorrier House on 23 August 2026 for scenic trail and field routes from 2.5 km up to a half marathon and a 5 hour endurance challenge. Expect medals, a lively event village with music, food and family fun.

Take a scenic single lap around Wimbleball Lake on varied off road trails with a short tarmac crossing, choosing 5K or 10K. Part of the Wimbleball sports festival with canicross entries, chip timing and finisher medals.

Steam Challenge on Sunday 30 August 2026 is a timed out and back race along an old train line near Bridestowe with a seven hour limit and medals for finishers. Enjoy undulating off road and paved terrain.

Dartmoor In A Day on 5 September 2026 offers a 50 km ultra or 30 km challenge across wild Dartmoor with dramatic tors, river crossings and sea views. Expect remote off road terrain, marshaled support and a festival finish at Ivybridge.
