Cornish Marathon (1 November 2026)

The Cornish Marathon is organised by East Cornwall Harriers and takes place around the countryside of East Cornwall, starting and finishing in Pensilva. The route passes several local landmarks including Golitha Falls, Colliford Lake, Dozemary Pool, Jamaica Inn, Bolventer Valley and King Doniets Stones, which provide locations for supporters along the course.

Race headquarters is at the Millennium Centre in Pensilva. The event will be chip timed. The minimum age to take part is 18. There is a course cut off of 6.5 hours; marshals will stand down after this time and there will be cut off points around the course. Entries are limited to 475 and there are no entries on the day. Entries open on 9 May 2026 and close on 23 October 2026. Entry fees are listed as £41.00 for ARC or UKA affiliated runners and £43.00 for non affiliated runners. The event is part of the Cornish Grand Prix series. An optional purchase of XCover is available to allow participants to seek a refund in specified unforeseen circumstances. Trail runs nearby

Langstone Fell Race runs from Peter Tavy across Coombe Tor, Cox Tor and the Langstone over roughly 10 km, with 2k and 5k options and junior races; parking, toilets and post-race refreshments are provided.

A guided trail run of about 10 miles through woodland tracks, river valley paths and minor lanes around the Tamar Valley, starting at the Tamar Trails carpark. Steady guided pace; trail shoes, waterproof and snacks recommended.

A coastal multi terrain 10 km loop near Menabilly and Fowey on 27 May 2026. The marshalled course includes steep climbs, coast path sections and steps, with a share of proceeds supporting St Austell Foodbank.

A timed off-road challenge from HMP Dartmoor where participants choose a route on public rights of way and aim for the greatest straight-line distance in 6, 12, or 24 hours. All entrants carry GPS trackers and receive a medal.
