Running Events Devon - Spooky Challenge 2026 Day 1

This is an eight hour timed running and walking event held on Saturday 31 October 2026 in Bridestowe, Station Road EX20 4HF. The organiser operates a "TUGG" Turn Up Get Going system that allows participants to start at any time during the event window, with completion required within the timed period.

The course is an out and back route on a scenic, disused train line. Each lap measures 5.3 km. The route surface includes off road and paved sections and the terrain is described as undulating. Participants may complete one lap, several laps, or up to fourteen laps within the permitted time; those who complete at least one lap within the timed period are classed as finishers and may collect a medal.

A 12 mile off road run across the Clovelly Estate on 3 May 2026, organised by RNLI Events. The course features steep hills and views, tickets are shown from £33.22 to £38.62 and the event is for 18 plus.

An evening five-mile race on Wednesday 6 May 2026 at Boconnoc Estate, organised by East Cornwall Harriers. The mixed-surface route uses unmade paths, woodland trails and some road sections, with Race HQ in the estate courtyard.

Three trail races at the Flete Estate in Mothecombe combine private tracks, estuary footpaths and coastal path sections. Distances range from 8.5 to 28.5 miles with marked courses, aid stations, mandatory kit rules and bespoke finishers' me..

Trail races at Roadford Lake on 16 May 2026 offer 10.5 km and 5 km laps, with a half marathon run as two laps of the longer course. Kids races for ages 3 to 11 allow adults to run free and entries include chip timing and a finisher medal.
