Spooky Challenge Day 1
The Spooky Challenge Day 1 is an eight-hour timed running event held on a scenic old disused train line. The course is described as undulating with a mix of off-road and paved surfaces. Participants complete a series of out-and-back laps, with each lap measuring 5.3 km.
This event utilizes a flexible start system where participants may arrive and begin their run at any time within the designated morning and afternoon window, provided they reach the finish line by the final cutoff in the late afternoon. There are no fixed distance requirements beyond the completion of at least one lap. Participants can choose to complete any number of laps within the permitted time, ranging from a single lap to fourteen or more.
The event is held in Bridestowe at Station Road and is limited to a maximum of 70 entrants. It is open to individuals aged 18 and over. All those who complete at least one lap are classified as finishers. Registration options include standard entries that provide a medal or "no perks" entries for those who do not require a medal or additional items.
