Distances

Course and terrain

The route follows coastal trails and includes rocks, sand, mud, water and sections of tarmac. Runners should expect large climbs and dunes; the marathon records around 4,000 feet of elevation gain and the Ultra adds roughly a further 1,800 feet. The finish is at Godrevy lighthouse; organisers note some competitors may finish after lighthouse lighting.

Entry categories include affiliated and non-affiliated options. Typical entry fees listed are £50 (affiliated) and £52 (non-affiliated) for the marathon, and £65 (affiliated) and £67 (non-affiliated) for the Ultra. The Ultra is limited to 70 runners. Run the rugged Cornish coast at Cousin Jack, with a scenic 18 mile point to point between St Just and St Ives or a challenging 35 mile out and back to Cape Cornwall. Expect rocky headlands, muddy sections and big climbs for stunning views.

Tackle a 15 mile trail at Perranporth Airfield with about 1000 m of ascent and 1000 m of descent over two laps. Every finisher gets a unique cowbell medal and a TRIBE bar, with prizes and a lively race hub on site.
