Lobster Lollop

The Lobster Lollop is a family oriented, timed trail run organised by Purple Gecko Events in support of the National Lobster Hatchery. The event takes place on the Camel Trail with a start and finish in Padstow on 14 November 2026. It is an out and back route along the trail.

Canicross categories are available for the 5 km, 10 km and 10 Miles distances. There are no cut off times in any category. Every participant receives a Lobster Lollop medal and awards are given to top finishers in each category. Medal holders can show their medal on the race weekend to gain free entry to the National Lobster Hatchery. Optional donations to the Hatchery are invited to support its conservation work.

Minimum age restrictions apply by distance: 5 years for the 2.5 km, 8 years for the 5 km, 14 years for the 10 km and 18 years for the 10 Mile. Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
