Bude Pirate Run

The Bude Pirate Run is an approximately 8-mile trail race held in Bude, Cornwall, starting and finishing at Maer Down near Crooklets Beach. The course features outstanding coastal scenery, varied terrain including trails, fields, wooded areas, and some road sections, with many hills making it a challenging run. The event is part of the Cornwall Multi Terrain Series and prohibits headphones and dogs.

Water stations are provided along the route, and all finishers receive a "Pirate Bounty" memento and a pasty. The race supports the Bude Surf Life Saving Club, with proceeds donated to the charity.
