Dark Dart Dash : event overview

The Dark Dart Dash is a night trail run scheduled for 22 November 2025 at Dartington Hall, Totnes (Green Table Cafe, Lower Drive). The event returns after a break and includes adult and children’s races, plus canicross options. The Green Table Cafe will host registration and offer food, hot drinks and a bar after the races. The event supports fundraising for a new children's playground at Dartington Hall.

Races, course and event services

  • 10K - single lap, age 15+ on event day.
  • 10K Canicross - single lap, run with a dog, age 16+.
  • 5K - single lap, age 12+ or age 8+ if accompanied by an adult.
  • 5K Canicross - single lap, run with a dog, age 16+.
  • 2K (kids) - two laps, age 8-11.
  • 1K (kids) - one lap, age 3-7.

Longer courses use mixed terrain including gravel, grass, some tarmac and occasional mud. Kids courses are mostly on grass. Parents may run with children at no extra charge. Participants must bring a head or chest torch; trail shoes are strongly recommended. There is ample parking on site with camera monitoring. Race entry includes professional RFID chip timing, fully marked and marshalled routes, finisher medals, free event photos, a hot drink or half beer for finishers, water and feed stations, toilets, trained medics, public liability insurance, custom race numbers and prizes for category and team winners.
