Dark Dart Dash - Dartington Hall, Totnes

The Dark Dart Dash is a night trail run at the Dartington Estate on 22 November 2025. Registration is hosted at the Green Table Cafe, which will offer food, hot drinks and a bar. The event helps raise funds for a new playground at Dartington Hall. Parking is available on site but parking fees apply and the car park is monitored by cameras.

The longer courses use mixed terrain including gravel, grass, some tarmac and sections that can be muddy. The kids courses are mainly on grass. Runners must bring a head or chest torch and trail shoes are strongly recommended.

The event includes kids races for ages 3-11. The 1 km race is for younger children and the 2 km race is for ages 8-11. The 10K requires a minimum age of 15 on race day. The 5K minimum age is 12, or age 8 if accompanied by an adult. Canicross entries have their own minimum ages.

Facilities and services

Race entry includes professional RFID chip timing, fully marked and marshalled courses, free event photos, medals for all finishers, prizes for overall and category winners, team prizes and a fancy dress competition.
