The Dark Dart Dash takes place at Green Table, Lower Drive, Dartington Hall in Totnes. Registration and post-race catering are hosted by the Green Table Cafe, which will offer pizzas, hot drinks and a bar. The event helps to raise funds for a new children’s playground at Dartington Hall.

Distances and race types:
- 10K single lap
- 5K single lap
- 1K kids race (ages 3-8)
- 2K kids race (ages 8-11) Canicross (run with a dog) is offered and starts shortly after the individual races. Parents may run with their children in the kids races at no additional charge. Children aged 8 and above may take part in the 5K if accompanied by an adult at all times.
Course surfaces: kids courses are mostly on grass. The 5K and 10K use mixed terrain including gravel, grass, some tarmac and sometimes mud. Participants must bring a head or chest torch; trail shoes are strongly recommended.
Race entry includes RFID chip timing, fully marked and marshalled routes, a finishers medal, prizes for category podiums, water and feed stations, event toilets, medics, event caterers and public liability insurance.
