Dark Dart Dash

Dartington Hall, United Kingdom • 21 Nov 2026

Event Overview

The Dark Dart Dash is an evening running event held at Dartington Hall in Totnes. It features several race options. For adults, there are 5K and 10K single-lap courses. A canicross option for runners with dogs is also available and starts just after the individual races. The longer courses use mixed terrain, including gravel, grass, some tarmac, and potentially mud. Participants are required to bring a head or chest torch, and trail shoes are strongly recommended.

Youth & Family Races

There are dedicated races for children aged 3-11. A 1K race is for ages 3-8, and a 2K race is for ages 8-11. Both kids' courses are primarily on grass. Parents can run with their children in these races at no extra cost. Children aged 8 and above may participate in the 5K race if accompanied by an adult at all times.

Venue & Amenities

Registration and the post-event gathering are hosted at the Green Table Cafe. The cafe will offer pizzas, hot drinks, and a bar. The event aims to raise funds for a new children's playground at Dartington Hall.

Entry includes professional RFID chip timing, fully marked and marshalled routes, a finisher's medal, a free beer or hot drink for all finishers, prizes for category podiums, water and feed stations, free parking, toilets, trained medics, and public liability insurance.
