Gower Coastal Trail Run

The event offers trail races on the Gower peninsula at Oxwich Bay. Courses run across cliff tops, downland, woodland, sand dunes and well known beaches. The area was the first place in Britain designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB).

The terrain is described as strenuous with surfaces including grass, moor, beach and rock. Races form part of the Endurancelife 26-27 trail running season and finishers earn points for the Season Leader Board.

Trail runs nearby

Two trail races through the mountains of Afan Forest Park, about 6.5 miles or 10.5 miles with significant climbs. Online entry, chip timing, marshalled route, finishers receive a t shirt and medal.

A 12 km canitrail and trail run in Ogmore Vale on 13 September 2026 supporting PAPYRUS Prevention of Young Suicide, held at Halo Ogmore Valley Life Centre with a listed ticket price of 26 GBP and a no refunds policy.

A long running trail race in the Doone Valley, Exmoor covering about 16 km (10 miles) over scenic but hilly terrain. The 37th edition limits entries to 250, requires entrants to be at least 16 and uses chip timing.

Three coastal trail races on 26 September 2026 around the Gower Peninsula offer routes of 50, 34 and 23 miles along cliffs, bays and coastal paths. The event is self navigated with checkpoints, GPS tracking and coach transfers to starts.
