Gower Coastal Trail Run
The event takes place at Oxwich Bay on 7 Nov 2026 and offers four trail running distances: 10K, Half Marathon, Marathon and Ultra.
The courses run across varied terrain, including grass, moor, beach and rock. Recorded distance and ascent for each distance:
- 10K, 6.8 miles, ascent 583 ft
- Half Marathon, 14.3 miles, ascent 1916 ft
- Marathon, 27.4 miles, ascent 3425 ft
- Ultra, 34.2 miles, ascent 3874 ft
Gower was the first place in Britain designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB). The peninsula includes cliff tops, downland, woodland, sand dunes and well known beaches.
This event is part of the Endurancelife 2026-27 trail running season. Participants who complete any distance will receive Season Leaderboard points based on performance and will be listed on the leaderboard. Registered participants will be asked to complete an online check-in about two weeks before the event, including confirmation of personal details and viewing the mandatory safety video.
