Dart Challenge (20 November 2026)

The Dart Challenge is a six hour running, hiking and walking event organised by Sportiva Events at the Green Table, Lower Drive, Dartington Hall, Totnes TQ9 6EE. Participants complete repeated 5 km laps on a marked course and may stop after a single lap or continue to cover as many laps as they can within the six hour limit.

The course follows mixed terrain that includes gravel, grass, some tarmac and occasionally mud. A canicross option is available for those who wish to run with a dog. Trail shoes are recommended.

Registration and on-site hospitality are handled at the Green Table Cafe, which will provide hot drinks and food during the event. The event also supports fundraising for a new playground at Dartington Hall.

Race services included with entry are professional RFID chip timing, fully marked and marshalled routes, a finishers medal, water and feed stations, event facilities and toilets, free parking, fully trained medics and event caterers. A mostly flat, multi terrain race of about 4 miles around Dawlish Warren with beach, sea wall and coastal footpath sections. Finishers receive a bespoke medal and a complementary ice cream.

A multi-distance coastal event on Mount Edgcumbe peninsula using a roughly 10.6K loop repeated for half and full marathons. Options include 10K, canicross and kids races plus chip timing and finishers medals.

An eight hour timed challenge on a 5.3 km out and back route along an old disused train line near Bridestowe. Turn up within a morning to early-afternoon window and complete as many laps as allowed to earn a medal.

A circular mixed terrain event around Exeter with a 14.2 mile Green Circle half marathon and a 9 mile Yellow Zone option. Both races start together and the course passes valleys and parks along the River Exe.
