Trail Running calendar near Peak Forest 2026-2027

Trail ultramarathons in the Peak District on 12–13 September 2026 with distances from 12 km to 110 km, UTMB Index status and camping options. The event also forms part of the GB SLAM series.

A 20 mile off road traverse across nine gritstone edges raising funds for Edale Mountain Rescue Team, offered as walking, running or climbing with required navigation and safety kit.

An outdoor obstacle course event in Gisburn, Ribble Valley Lancashire on 12 September 2026 offering 12 km and 6 km military style courses plus an elite 12 km race.

A partly marked fell race from the Raven Inn, covering 11.25 km with 445 m ascent. Day-entry only at £5, minimum age over 18, and participants should allow about 15 minutes to walk to the start.

Alton Trail Run on 12 September 2026 features a mainly off‑road 10 km trail through Dimmingsdale plus a 2 mile fun run, with medals for all finishers.

A 50 mile circular ultramarathon through the Lincolnshire Wolds starting from Swallow Village Hall. The course gains about 1,370 m of elevation, features four aid stations, an 18 hour cut off and limited entry for 150 runners.

Autumn Wolf is a two day trail event in Warwickshire on 12 and 13 September 2026, featuring adult 10K and 5K routes plus junior 6K and 3K races across woodland, fields, streams and mud.

A half marathon trail across the Clwydian Hills to the summit of Moel Famau, featuring about 21.4 km and 750 m of ascent. Staggered starts aim for a shared sunset summit and canicross entries are welcome.

Three supported walks of 12, 18 or 26 miles start and finish at Wistanstow Village Hall, following an undulating route through the Shropshire Hills AONB with checkpoints, refreshments and a finish meal.

An off-road full marathon and a 14.8 mile half marathon held each September, both with substantial ascent, mandatory FRA kit and stocked feed stations; entries often sell out and chip timing is used with live updates.

Bradley Fell Race in Bradley Village near Skipton features a 3.50 mile fell course with about 274 meters of climb, age categories from Under 9 to Seniors, and registration plus parking at the U9 field.

Trail event at Bakewell Showground in the Peak District offering three distances with chip timing and on-course refreshments. Routes follow the Monsal Trail with views of Chatsworth House and the village of Edensor.

A fully marked 4 mile loop around Ilam with steep climbs, a river crossing and three summits, licensed by the Fell Runners Association and open to runners aged 18 and over.

A one lap 10K trail run through Yarrow Valley on 13 September 2026, routed along woodland paths and riverside trails with crossings of the River Yarrow. Based at the Flaming Grill Pub, entry is listed at £16 and every finisher receives a me..

Trail event on 13 September 2026 at Burton Pidsea Memorial Hall with a 10K, a 5K and a children's fun run. Online and on the day entries are available with separate affiliated fees.

A chip-timed 6.0 miles (9.7 km) trail race in Colne Valley with about 990 ft of ascent, fully marshalled and waymarked, finishing at Zapato Brewery with prizes and age categories.

Teddy Bear Run in Aston Park, Birmingham brings families together for 2.5K or 5K courses, a finisher teddy, and a teddy bears picnic. Participants are invited to fundraise for Birmingham Children’s Hospital with a suggested minimum of £10.

Defeat Delamere is a forest run on 13 September 2026 at Delamere Forest, Frodsham, offering 5k, 10k, 16k and a junior race. Entries include race packs, finisher medals, t-shirts and post race hydration.

Women only 10 km event at Beacon Country Park with chip timing, marshals, medical cover and on course ambassadors, limited to 250 places.

A midweek multi-terrain race in Wallasey, part of the Wirral Multi-Terrain League, with senior races of 6.5 to 8 km and junior races of about 2 miles.
