The Teddy Bear Run - Birmingham

The Teddy Bear Run in Aston Park, Birmingham is a charity fun run and walk that supports Birmingham Children’s Hospital Charity. The event is open to all ages and offers short, family friendly distances suited to a range of paces.

Participants can choose between these course lengths:

On completion of the course each finisher receives a Teddy Bear Run cuddly toy. A teddy bears’ picnic takes place after the event.

On entry participants receive a bespoke JustGiving link and are encouraged to raise a minimum of £10 for Birmingham Children’s Hospital. Funds raised support hospital projects, innovative treatments, family support services, and specialist training as described by the charity.

Trail races at Tackeroo Campsite in Cannock Chase with 10 km, half and full marathon options plus a two person marathon relay. Courses are entirely off road with rolling terrain, singletrack and regular feed stations.

An in-person 8 km trail loop around Calke Abbey nature park, meeting at Ticknall Village Hall Car Park. Organised by Run 4 U and Perform Running Club, with free parking and refunds available up to one day before the event.

A reworked May 2026 50 mile trail around Telford passing Ironbridge and the Wrekin, with four checkpoints, recommended trail shoes and a 9PM cut off. Participants report good waymarking and well stocked aid stations.
