The Teddy Bear Run - Birmingham

The Teddy Bear Run takes place at Aston Park and brings together runners, walkers, children and their cuddly companions for a fundraiser in support of Birmingham Children's Hospital Charity. The event is open to all ages and welcomes a range of paces from sprinting to strolling.

Participants can choose between the following distances:

  • 2.5K course around Aston Park
  • 5K course around Aston Park

Entry fees are specified by age category. The listed prices include adults, children aged 3 to 16, and options for infants aged 0 to 2 with or without a finisher's teddy. A booking fee is charged per entry.

Every finisher receives a Teddy Bear Run cuddly toy on completion of the course. After the event there is a teddy bears' picnic where participants can stay and have lunch together.

The event raises money for Birmingham Children's Hospital Charity. Participants receive a bespoke Just Giving link in their confirmation email and are encouraged to raise a minimum of £10. Donations support hospital projects, innovative treatments, family support services, and specialist training for healthcare professionals.
