Trail Running calendar near Newark-on-Trent 2026-2027

A spring trail event at Carsington Water in Derbyshire on 10 April 2027 offering Half Marathon and 10k routes around the reservoir. Routes are marked and GPX is provided; entries include a themed medal and chip-timed results.

A 28 mile out and back along the traffic free Brampton Valley Way, run as a county versus county contest with 100 starters from each end. The route is flat, includes two long dark tunnels, four feed stations and on course first aid.

Forest trail runs at High Lodge in Thetford Forest on 11 April 2027 with 5 km, 10 km and a new half marathon options. The chip timed event is fully supported and all finishers receive a medal, merchandise, snack and drink.

A scenic *10 km* trail race on Sunday 18 April 2027 around the Nene Valley, starting and finishing at KC Active in Kings Cliffe. The circular, waymarked route uses farm tracks and disused railway lines and features a staffed aid station.
