Kings Cliffe 10k, Nene Valley

The Kings Cliffe 10 km is a trail race organised by Nene Valley Races on 18 April 2027. The event is the fourth running of this race and is based at KC Active, Kingsmead, Station Road, Kings Cliffe.

The course is a circular route that uses easy tracks and paths through the Northamptonshire countryside, including green fields, farm tracks and disused railway lines. The route is fully marked and marshalled and includes a well stocked aid station.

Practical details given for entrants include plentiful car parking at the venue, a requirement to bring a personal cup or water bottle for the aid station to support eco measures, and an option to select a T shirt or a Trees not Tees donation when booking. Midlands Spartan Weekend at Belvoir Castle runs July 10 to 12 2026 and features Sprint Super Beast and Kids races across hilly wooded terrain. The Trifecta Weekend format lets participants complete three main distances over one weekend.

A functional fitness race at Peterborough Embankment on 11 July 2026 pairing ten station Xercises with repeated 400m or 800m run legs. Entry types include solo, doubles and relay and all entrants must be 18 or over.

A lap based timed run at Mowsbury Park on 11 July 2026 offering distances from 5 km up to ultra with a flexible one hour start window and a choice of medal or lower cost no medal entry. Places are limited to 75.

A muddy 5k obstacle course through Abington Park in Northampton on 11 July 2026, organised by Cancer Research UK. Waves run every 15 minutes, participants must be aged 13 or older, and on site facilities include toilets and refreshments.
