The Battle of the Brampton Valley Way is a unique ultra running event held along the traffic-free Brampton Valley Way, spanning 28 miles (45 km) from Market Harborough in Leicestershire to Northamptonshire and back. This super flat course offers a scenic route through rural Northamptonshire, featuring two dark tunnels requiring head torches. Runners choose their start point, representing either Leicestershire or Northamptonshire, competing in a team battle with timing mats at both ends for split times. The race includes four feed stations, professional first aid, and is suitable for road or trail shoes. All finishers receive a medal, with prizes for top finishers.
