Derby Derwent Trail Run at Elvaston Castle Country Park
The Derby Derwent Trail Run is an off-road event held within the parkland of Elvaston Castle Country Park in Derby, Derbyshire. The route passes through woodland trails, open parkland and riverside paths, including extended sections alongside the River Derwent. The setting includes Victorian gardens, historic architecture and wide open green space. Terrain is predominantly trail and grass with some firm footpaths.

Each distance has a recorded elevation gain: +106 m for the 21.1 km, +79 m for the 14.5 km and +53 m for the 10.4 km. The course is fully signed using pink arrows and pink tape, with hazards and road junctions marked with caution signs. The event provides on-course marshals, water stations, first aid support at aid stations and the event centre, chip timing, a finisher medal and finisher goodies. Participants are asked to use a reusable cup or bottle as the event operates plastic free. Suggested items include a mobile phone, food and drink for the race and a rain jacket.
