The Tor Mile is a fell running event organised by Ramsbottom Running Club on Monday 29 June 2026 in Helmshore. It features a junior race and the Tor Mile Fell Race with registration at The Loom Cafe & Bar.

A multi-terrain five-mile race around Manchester Airport Runway 2, including the Bollin Tunnel. Organised by Wilmslow RC, entries are limited, proceeds go to MNDA and the event is EA certified.

A 10 km trail race through Stalybridge Country Park and local moorland. Finishers receive a local chip muffin voucher for completing this event organized by Crazy Legs Events.

A chip timed 10k at Burghley House on 30 June 2026, run over two laps on grass and paths around the estate. Open to ages 16 and over with a minimum fundraising target of £50.

An evening trail race in Shirtcliffe Woods organised by Handsworth Roadhogs, run over two laps totalling 5.25 miles (8.5 km). Entry is online only with fees of £6 for UKA affiliated and £8 for unaffiliated runners.

July 2026

Cragg Vale on 1 July 2026 is a 4 miles (6.4 km) fell race with 244 m of climb run from the village near Cragg Vale Church. Entry on the day is £8 cash and registration and refreshments are based at Cragg Church.

A 9.5 km fell race to the summit of Win Hill on 1 July 2026 with 451 metres of ascent. Entry is by on the day fee and all profits support local charities and community groups.

A midweek 5.5 km multi terrain race in Happy Valley organised by Bramhall Runners. It is the second of three races in the Foodbank series, has a 250 runner limit, a minimum age of 13 and manual timing.
