The Rasselbock Run – Winter 2027 – Day One
The event is the Saturday component of a two day weekend at Sherwood Pines. It is organised as a six hour challenge on a looped course through the forest managed by the UK Forestry Commission. Participants may attempt as many laps as they can within the six hour period or complete a single lap; all finishers receive a bespoke medal reflecting the new design for this edition.
The weekend uses the same forest for both days, with the Sunday event running the loop in the opposite direction. Entries for both days can be purchased together and a discount is offered for combined entries.
Organisers note that sections of Sherwood Pines will be harvested in the new year. If the route requires changes because of this work, a replacement course of similar length and character will be provided and details communicated beforehand.
