About the race
Lincoln Marabank is a timed endurance event organised by Vigilantes Maravan CIC at Woodcocks, Burton Waters, Lincoln. The event runs on a flat, traffic free canal towpath alongside the Roman-built Fossdyke and uses a measured circuit where medals are awarded to anyone completing at least one lap.
The main format is a seven hour timed event on multi terrain towpath. The course is suitable for rounds that can be combined to reach longer distances; marathon entrants may be offered an early start option that can allow up to eight hours to complete the marathon distance. The event operates under an ARC permit and carries event insurance to meet ARC minimum standards. Support includes a well stocked aid station.
