Rainow 5

The Rainow 5 is a popular trail and fell race held annually in the village of Rainow, on the edge of the Peak District, UK. Covering a challenging 5-mile (8 km) hilly route with 751 feet of ascent, the course features scenic footpaths including White Nancy and the Kerridge Ridge. The event attracts around 250-300 runners aged 16 and over and is organized by Macclesfield Harriers & Athletic Club. It offers a friendly atmosphere with post-race teas, cakes, and socializing, often at a local pub.
