The Run for Wildlife Spring 10k takes place on Sunday 26 April 2026 at the Yorkshire Wildlife Park, DN9 3HQ. The event is organised by Curly's Athletes in support of the Wildlife Foundation. It is the fourth year the 10k running safari has been held with an animal theme for each event.

Course and event details

The in-person route is a single large loop of the park and surrounding grounds. The surface is mixed - roads, park paths, some trail and grass - and road running shoes are described as suitable. The course is UK Athletics licensed. Entry for the in-person event includes park admission on the day. Animals mentioned as visible from the route include lions, rhinos, giraffes, baboons and tapirs; the 2025 event featured an okapi.
