Tempo Trail Races

Tempo Trail Races is a one day trail running event on Sunday 3 May 2026, based at Ilmington Sports & Social Club in Ilmington, Cotswolds. The event offers five distances that use marked trails and GPX courses across local footpaths and roads.

  • 100K Ultra
  • 50K Ultra
  • Marathon
  • Half Marathon
  • 10K

Race formats include point to point and out-and-back sections. All races except the 10K have feed stations; the 100K and 50K use several feed stations spaced along the route and have baggage transfer options to the Hayles midpoint. Marathon and half marathon routes include multiple feed stations and printed maps are provided for some courses. Finishers receive a medal and prizes are awarded to the first three male and female finishers for each distance on gun time.

Entrants are responsible for navigation and safety. The 10K and half marathon are waymarked with arrows; marathon and ultra entrants are advised to use GPX files or supplied maps. A location tracker will be provided for the 100K and 50K. Recommended kit lists vary by distance and include trail footwear, sufficient fluids, waterproofs and a basic first aid kit. Parking is at the Sports Club and space is limited. Registration is online only and entry fees vary by distance. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
