Trail Running calendar near Mirfield 2026-2027

Trail races from Slaithwaite follow the Huddersfield canal out to Tunnel End, with four distance options, on course feed stations and marshals. Parking is limited and registration is at Slaithwaite Community Centre.

A 50K trail from Whitby to Pickering on 12 July 2026 that follows former railway lines and passes eight stations. Mixed undulating terrain with marshaled checkpoints, walker friendly entry, and an optional coach return.

A roughly 17 mile circular self navigation route from Parwich in the Derbyshire Dales with about 2,000 ft of ascent. The event includes three aid stations and a collect and deliver Quest alongside a six hour overall time limit.

A summertime off road race of about 5 miles along the River Mersey in Sale, organised by Dragons Running Club. The event uses chip timing, provides finish mementos and shares profits with local charities.

Chapelfell Top is an AS graded 7 km fell race in St. John’s Chapel, Weardale featuring 400 m of ascent to the 703 m summit and a return on the same route. The event is organised by Durham Fell Runners and run under FRA rules.
