The La Sportiva Lake District Mountain Trial is a classic fell-running navigation race held in the Lake District. The 70th edition takes place at Side Farm, Patterdale (CA11 0NL) on Sunday 14 September 2025. The Classic route runs about 25 miles with around 8,000 feet of ascent and descent, with shorter Medium and Short options for varying experience levels.

The event emphasizes route choice, navigational skill, and stamina across rugged terrain and is run under Fell Runners Association rules. Entry is £30 (£1.50 discount with your own SI card); under-23 £5 with a free SI loan.
