Clowbridge 5k - Autumn 3/3

Clowbridge 5k is a trail race held as part of a three race series on 3, 10 and 17 September 2026. The event covers a single 5 km distance and is open to runners aged 11 and over. The published entry fee is £6.50 and entries run from 21 March until 16 September 2026.

The course uses a popular route off the Pennine Bridleway. Runners complete two laps of the trail path around Clowbridge Reservoir, running anti-clockwise from Rossendale Valley Sailing Club on Manchester Road, Burnley BB11 5PF. Course profile shows around 25 m of elevation gain across the 5 km and the route is described as fast and flat.

Each race is marshalled and prizes are provided in every race. Local parking is available in the lower car park at the Sailing Club and on Limey Lane at the far end of the reservoir. Monies from the series will be donated to local causes. The organiser is RunJMC and the event is listed as licensed under ARC pending.
