Clowbridge 5k - Autumn 3/3
This is a trail 5 km race held as the third event of a three-race autumn series on 3, 10 and 17 September 2026. The race is open to runners aged 11 and over and features about 25 m of elevation over the 5 km distance, described as fast and flat.
The course comprises two laps of the trail path around Clowbridge Reservoir, run anti-clockwise from the Rossendale Valley Sailing Club, Manchester Road, Burnley, BB11 5PF. The lower car park at the Sailing Club and Limey Lane at the far end of the reservoir are noted parking locations; participants are asked to park sensibly locally.
Each race in the series is marshalled and includes prizes. Entry fee for this event is £6.50. Entries open 21 March 2026 and close 16 September 2026.
