Clowbridge 5k - Autumn 3/3

The event is a trail 5 km held around Clowbridge Reservoir on a popular route off the Pennine Bridleway. The course comprises two laps of the trail path around the reservoir, run anti-clockwise from Rossendale Valley Sailing Club on Manchester Road, Burnley, BB11 5PF. The route is described as fast and flat, with approximately 25 m of elevation over the 5 km. Races are marshalled and prizes are awarded in each race.

This race is part of a three-race series on 3, 10 and 17 September 2026 and is open to participants aged 11 and over. Entry fee information and entry periods are published by the organiser; entries for the series opened on 21 March 2026 and close on 16 September 2026. Participants are asked to park sensibly with a lower car park available at the Sailing Club and additional parking at Limey Lane at the far end of the reservoir. Proceeds from the series will be donated to local causes. The event is organised by RunJMC and is listed as licensed under ARC pending.
