Clowbridge 5k - Autumn 3/3

Clowbridge 5k is a trail race held around Clowbridge Reservoir on a popular route off the Pennine Bridleway. The course consists of two anticlockwise laps of the trail path, starting from Rossendale Valley Sailing Club on Manchester Road, Burnley, BB11 5PF. The route covers 5 km with approximately 25 m of elevation change and is described as fast and flat.

This event is part of a three race series held on Thursdays on 3rd, 10th and 17th September 2026. Entries are available for participants aged 11 and over. Entry fee for the event is £6.50. Each race offers prizes and is marshalled.

Practical details include local parking options such as the lower car park at the Sailing Club and a car park at Limey Lane at the far end of the reservoir. Monies raised from the series will be donated to local causes. The race is organised by Run JMC and operated under a licence pending with ARC.
