A 7 hour Time Challenge on the River Wear in Durham with distances from 3 km to ultra, Scare Bear themed medals and distance pins, signed trail laps and aid tables offering drinks and snacks including vegan options.

Tackle the Viking Chase, a 12 km fell race across the North York Moors on 11 Oct 2026, featuring 572 m of climb and sweeping moorland views. Entry on the day, adults only, with proceeds to Cleveland Mountain Rescue.

A 6.2 mile fell race from Penistone Hill Country Park via The Stoop and Top Withins, part of the Woodentops series with chip timing and a detailed prize list.

Approx 21.5 km fell race around the Goyt Valley to Shining Tor with 760 m climb, marked route, two water points and finish food, with proceeds to Buxton Rotary.

Canicross at Pennington Flash Country Park with marked lakeside and woodland routes, short and long distances, and on-site parking and café.

A Manchester running event on 11 October 2026 at Hardy Farm with a vegan biryani giveaway for the first 50 entrants, on-site aid station, parking and a race memento.

Junior races on short quarry and moorland circuits at Penistone Hill, with new 2026 age groups and distances from 600 m to 2,900 m. Minimum age 6, entry £2, goody bags and prizes for top three in each category.

A 7 hour timed trail event along the River Wear in Durham on 11 October 2026 with lap-based distances from a 3 km minimum up to marathon, 50 km and ultra options. Medals, goody bags and aid stations are provided; headphones allowed.

Trail races around Carsington Water on 17 October 2026, with a half marathon and a 10k on marked, undulating paths. Entries include a themed medal, water and post-race goodies, plus an event village and downloadable GPX routes.

Two trail races in the Amber Valley offering 31 miles and 20 miles over undulating countryside and woodland. The course is largely unmarked but route notes and GPX files are provided, with checkpoints supplying water and some food.

Self navigated 50k from Grassington through Malham Tarn, Buckden Pike and parts of the Dales Way with GPX files, aid stations, live tracking and a minimum age of 20.

Rip n Run XL in Wadsworth offers a 40 mile route with 5,800 ft elevation and an 80 mile double option with 28 hours to finish. Four checkpoints, indoor facilities at two stops, and hot food at HQ support runners.

Trail races at Loggerheads Copuntry Park with a 6km loop, a 12km two-lap option and a 6km Canicross. Courses are marked and marshalled and entry fees range from £19 to £22.

Scenic Yorkshire trail runs offering 5K, 10K and half marathon options with licensed races and pay-on-the-day places available.
